Swim in the river, jump from the rocks, swing from a rope and dive into the cool refreshing waters of the river. Then we go to Baldi Resort to do some exploring through the rainforest, soak in volcanic hot springs, enjoy all the different pools, the water slide, the Waterfall Cave, or just relax and enjoy the soothing, therapeutic warm waters of the Hot Springs. Then sit back and enjoy the ride home. That's a pretty great day in Costa Rica!

Here at Baldi you can and enjoy the soothing warm waters of the Hot Springs, explore all the different pools that flow into each other, but are arranged in a way where you can't see them all and you feel like you're in the rainforest and stumbled across some Arenal Volcano hot Springs. Go explore the waterfall cave, slide down the big water slide, or just relax, enjoy the rainforest and the sounds of nature all around. Baldi is a Must-do in Costa Rica!
La Fortuna River & Baldi Resort Adventure - Important information and what's included
š ADVENTURE #1: LA FORTUNA RIVER Our first stop is the beautiful La Fortuna River, where you'll have the chance to cool off in the crystal-clear, refreshing water surrounded by tropical rainforest. Feeling adventurous? Take a leap from the rocks or try the rope swing set up by locals and make a splash! Not a jumper? No problem! Relax in the cool river, soak up the scenery, take photos, or simply watch the more adventurous members of the group launch themselves into the water. It's your adventure ā you decide how wild you want to make it! āØļø ADVENTURE #2: BALDI HOT SPRINGS. After cooling off in the river, it's time to turn up the heat! We'll head to Baldi Hot Springs Resort, surrounded by lush tropical gardens and the spectacular scenery of the La Fortuna area. Baldi features a huge collection of thermal-water pools, cascading waterfalls, a giant water slide, a waterfall cave, and tropical gardens. And here's the fun part: š„ The higher you go, the hotter it gets! Move from pool to pool and find your perfect temperature. Some pools are comfortably warm, while others are seriously hot! Temperatures range from approximately 93Ā°F to 152Ā°F (34Ā°Cā66Ā°C) depending on the pool. Relax under waterfalls. Soak your muscles. Explore the different pools. Challenge your friends to the water slide. Or simply grab a comfortable spot, listen to the sounds of the rainforest, and let Costa Rica do the rest. š A PRIVATE ADVENTURE ā NOT A TOUR BUS! Your day is completely private for your group of up to 4 people. I'll pick you up directly at your location in Atenas and take care of the driving while you enjoy the scenery. La Fortuna is approximately 3 hours each way from Atenas, so this is a true full-day adventure. Suggested Schedule - 6:00 AM ā Pick-up in Atenas, ~9:00 AM ā Arrive in the La Fortuna area, Morning ā La Fortuna River adventure, Late morning ā Baldi Hot Springs, 2:00ā3:00 PM ā Depart La Fortuna, ~6:00 PM ā Arrive in Atenas. I recommend the 6:00 AM departure so we have plenty of time to enjoy the day without feeling rushed. If you're not a morning person, we can leave as late as 7:00 AM.
